The social learning and networking platform had an existing system for hosting the virtual conference and a virtual space that assigned points and leaderboards to its users. The client wanted to increase their user engagement and involvement in the asynchronous discussions outside of the actual conference and training space. Flying Cloud Solutions analyzed the data gathered from the engagement in the client’s virtual space and re-strategized the gamification approach. They built an app on top of the existing platform and created an engagement economy where the users could use the points they earned to win prizes in order to further their engagement. The statistical analysis of the data proved that the new custom gamification system improved overall engagement.
